DIE SPITZ/VIAGRA BOYS

Viagra Boys, Franklin Music Hall, Philadelphia, PA 09/27/2025

Infinite Anxiety:

On September 27, the sold-out Franklin Music Hall crowd went insane for Viagra Boys, making Philly their last stop on the first half of the “Infinite Anxiety Tour”.

Joining Viagra Boys on the first leg of tour is the all-female punk band from Austin, Texas, Die Spitz. Their energy is contagious, immediately getting the crowd hyped. With the recent release of their new album, “Something to Consume”, fans had the opportunity to listen to tracks like “Throw Yourself to the Sword” and “RIDING WITH MY GIRLS”. Die Spitz also played tracks off their 2023 album, “Teeth”, including “Hair of Dog” and Groping Dogs Gushing Blood”. The mosh pit was insane, making me wish I were in there with them.

After an incredible performance from Die Spitz, fans were eager for Viagra Boys to come on stage, even a lobster guy. The second Viagra Boys entered the stage, the audience roared with excitement when the boys started their set off right with “Man Made of Meat”. Sebastian, the lead singer of Viagra Boys, was truly a wonder to watch at work. He constantly interacts with as many fans as possible, and his energy is through the roof.

Viagra Boys continued to play hit after hit off their newest album, “Viagra Boys”. Crowd surfers were coming left and right, and the audience cheered at absolutely everything. When the audience thought the night couldn't get any better, during the song “Research Chemicals, “Die Spitz reappeared on stage with Viagra Boys, and the group played their hearts out.

But wait… There’s more. With the audience wanting even more, Viagra Boys came back on for an encore and played one of their most popular songs, “The Bog Body”, and ended the set with “Worms.”

This show was truly one of a kind. A truly unforgettable night for many, including myself. Although Viagra Boys and Die Spitz are continuing their tours separately in October, do yourself a favor and get to one of their shows. These two artists are a can't-miss.
