King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, The Mann Center, Philadelphia, PA 7/28/25.
After seeing King Gizz at the Dell last year I couldn’t wait for them to come back to Philadelphia. With it being the first night of tour everyone was wondering what was in store especially with the show featuring the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. They started off by playing all of their new album “Phantom Island” which is their 27th studio album; an incredible feat. After playing a Phantom Island all the way through they gave the orchestra a break and played “The Dripping Tap” and jammed out together for several minutes even teasing “Am I In Heaven”. After that long jam they brought the orchestra back out for the show and played multiple hits like “Mars For the Rich”, “Dragon”, and then closed out with hit song “Iron Lung”.
