Levitate 2025: Music & Art Take Over Marshfield
Under the summer sun at the Marshfield Fairgrounds, the Levitate Music & Arts Festival 2025
brought two days of music, creativity, and connection. From spontaneous hacky sack circles to
crowd-wide singalongs, the energy was high, and art was everywhere.
Three stages—Stoke, Style, and Songwriter— each with its own vibe. Beyond the music,
festivalgoers explored mural painting, live surfboard shaping, handmade clothing, and delicious
bites (shoutout to the Broccoli Bar).
Day one featured standout sets from Stick Figure, who closed the Stoke Stage with a warm,
reggae-infused set—and yes, Cocoa The Tour Dog made an appearance to the crowd’s delight.
Ripe delivered their signature groove, while newer names like Hans Williams and Maya
Manuela packed the more intimate Songwriter Stage with impressive crowds and captivating
performances.
Sunday brought a mix of styles, from Thundercat’s funk fusion to Still Woozy’s dreamy indie-pop
and a heartfelt set from Dispatch. The Elovators returned for both days, bridging reggae and
alt-rock with ease.
The crowd was diverse and friendly, full of first-timers and returning fans, all happy to share the
experience of music, art, and summer. Many told me they came for the headliners but left with
new favorites—exactly what a great festival should do.
Levitate 2025 was a celebration of community and creativity. Until next year, Marshfield.
