MARIS
Maris, Fete Lounge, Providence, RI 4/24/2026
MARIS is a superstar with undeniable vocals and a captivating stage presence. From collaborating with Caroline Kingsbury, to singing at Boston Calling, to educating the youth of America. Yes- that’s right. Stopping by Providence, Rhode Island’s Fête Music Hall for the “MARIS Goes to College” tour, the Montana-born artist put on a fun and interactive show for fans, incorporating the highest degree of entertainment. Here are the lessons we learned on the “MARIS Goes to College” tour:
MARIS101: Don’t leave friends behind.
Have a friend at home that couldn’t make it? During the show, MARIS fans handed over their facetimes for the artist to hold as she sang her next song. No one does it like her!
MARIS102: Love yourself.
As a pause from all the music, MARIS has the audience stop in a celebration of self-love. Explaining her story and connecting with fans, the singer tells us to wrap our arms around ourselves and shout “I love you just the way you f***ing are, b*tch!”
MARIS103: Dance like no one's watching.
This girl does a mosh pit like no other. Everyone makes room on the floor for fans to dance freely, as MARIS cheers on from the stage. An important lesson in letting go and having fun.
MARIS Commencement:
The singer doesn’t leave Providence before awarding a few A+ students some well-deserved medals. One, a part of a game of live pictionary played with the audience. The second, awarded to Lilly, who runs @maristourupdates on Instagram, and was honored for “bringing community together” with her passion for the artist and fanbase. There is no doubt this fanbase is strong. Papers were passed around for a fan project which encouraged everyone to wave the papers during the final song “Salt Water Taffy.”
Providence-based artist, Orion joined MARIS for the show, opening up with a set of cybernetic sounds with her bright shining keytar. You can earn your degree until May 3rd when MARIS finishes her tour. If you miss it, keep an eye on her, because this star is just getting started.
