MAYDAY PARADE
Mayday Parade, The Met, Philadelphia, PA 11/21/2025
November 21st was an amazing day for Mayday Parade fans, as they gave a smashing performance at the Met Philadelphia, accompanying All Time Low on their “Everyone’s Talking Tour.”
Forming all the way back in 2005, Mayday Parade has seen massive success over the years, reaching their 20th anniversary this year, and the band is still going strong, recently releasing the first two parts of their trilogy album releases, “Sweet” and “Sad”, in celebration of their anniversary, with the third part releasing sometime in 2026.
Although Mayday Parade was an opener, the crowd still knew every word to their songs, with fans screaming in anticipation. Starting the set off with “Under My Sweater” and “Jersey,” the band’s energy was incredible, with lead singer Derek’s stage presence being top-notch. Hopping around the stage barefoot and showing off his stunning vocals. The rest of the band kept fans on their toes, with them frequently coming close to the stage and shredding their guitars. Fans wanted to be even closer, with crowd surfers coming up left and right.
Continuing their set, Mayday Parade played songs from different eras of their music, like “Kids in Love” off their 2009 album, “Anywhere But Here,” and “Pretty Good to Feel Something,” off “Sweet” (2025), and fans were still loving every second of it. The band and fans’ hype were only growing by the second. Mayday Parade ended their set with their most popular song, “Jamie All Over.”
With the “Everyone’s Talking Tour” soon to be reaching its conclusion, Mayday Parade makes it worth going for just them alone, and with a third album planned to be released in 2026 for their 20th anniversary, Mayday Parade fans are going to be eating good for quite a while.
