LITTLE STRANGER/IRATION/SLIGHTLY STOOPID
Little Stranger/Iration/Slightly Stoopid, The Mann Center, Philadelphia, PA 7/31/25.
On an extremely stormy and rainy day in Philadelphia, the bands decided the show must go on. With the late doors/show everybody rushed in to see Philly’s own Little Stranger. Right from the jump the Stranger boys brought the energy and got everybody up dancing from front to back of the venue. Midway through the set Kevin started reading “Inner Excellence” the rallying book of the Eagles’ AJ Brown during a song and then held it up for the crowd of fans chanting Go Birds and E A G L E S which continued again when they left the stage. Although Iration played a short set as well they made the most of the time sprinkling in all of their major hits and played a cover of Steve Miller’s “The Joker” as well as Shaggy’s “Angel”. Slightly Stoopid were announced out onto the stage and all came running out to their song “Niceness”. Early in their set they played two of their biggest hits with “2 AM” and “Officer” with an incredible laser show going on above. They brought Little Stranger back out to play “Somebody” with them and that got everyone in the audience bouncing around again. When they played their 2004 hit “Collie Man” the whole crowd was singing along feeling the nostalgia of the song. The band ended the show in a super cool way and played Snoop Dogg’s “Young Wild and Free” the rare cover to close out a night.
