AMYL & THE SNIFFERS

Amyl & The Sniffers, Skyline Stage at the Mann Center, Philadelphia, PA 6/8/2026

As a longtime fan of Amyl & The Sniffers, I couldn't wait to see them in Philadelphia, and the Skyline Stage proved to be the perfect venue for the experience.

Opening the show was Party Dozen, an Australian noise-rock duo consisting of saxophonist Kirsty Tickle and drummer Jonathan Boulet. Their unique sound was the ideal way to warm up the crowd, blending vocals filtered through the saxophone with explosive, high-energy sax solos. By the end of their set, the audience was fully primed for the main event.

When Amyl & The Sniffers finally took the stage, the crowd erupted, jumping and cheering as the band launched into a blistering opening trio of “Control,” “It’s Mine,” and “U Should Not Be Doing That.” From the first song, it was impossible not to be captivated by frontwoman Amy Taylor's magnetic stage presence. She bounced across the stage with boundless energy, whipping her hair around and flashing a constant smile that radiated pure joy.

Mosh pits and crowd surfers appeared throughout the night, but the overwhelming feeling in the crowd was one of celebration. Whether fans were slamming into each other or simply moving along to the beat, everyone seemed compelled to dance. The band's relentless energy never let up, and neither did the audience's enthusiasm.

The set appeared to end with the fan favorite “Hertz,” sending the crowd into one final frenzy. But Philadelphia wasn't ready to let the night end there, and the band's return for a two-song encore was met with deafening cheers. After thanking the crowd for a magical evening, Amyl & The Sniffers left the stage having delivered exactly the kind of unforgettable, high-energy performance their fans have come to expect.
