BLONDSHELL

Blondshell, Variety Playhouse, Atlanta, GA 6/27/25.

Despite the stormy weather, fans packed into Variety Playhouse on Friday night for a powerful performance by Blondshell. Opening act Daffo set the raw, emotional tone for the early crowd—and at one point encouraged the audience to bark like a dog, which some audience members took to doing at other points throughout the night.

When Sabrina Teitelbaum, known as Blondshell, took the stage, the audience erupted with anticipation. A few songs in, the opening chords of “Docket” sparked an electric response, with the crowd singing along word for word. That same energy carried through later in the set during “Veronica Mars,” another clear fan favorite.

One of the evening’s most memorable moments came with the debut of a new track, “Berlin TV Tower.” Performed as a stripped-down arrangement with just vocals and guitar, the song created a quiet, intimate atmosphere and showcased Teitelbaum’s lyrical depth and raw vocal delivery.

Teitelbaum commanded the stage with a quiet confidence through intentional, grounded connection: leaning into the crowd with her mic stand, locking eyes with fans, and often kneeling at the edge of the stage. It was a performance marked by presence over flash—an emotionally resonant night that left a lasting impression on the Atlanta audience.
